The Iran-backed Houthis claim to have shot down a Saudi fighter jet over Yemen as strikes between the rebels and Yemen’s Saudi-backed government forces escalate.
Saudi officials have also accused the Houthis of launching a drone at the Islamic holy city of Mecca.
