Western markets could be facing a new era of uranium scarcity | FT Energy Source

Nuclear power is experiencing a revival as countries look to low-carbon solutions to meet their energy needs. Demand for the uranium that fuels nuclear reactors is predicted to almost double by 2040, but as that demand rises, supply may be tightening for the west, thanks to the war in Ukraine, and growing competition for resources from China.
