Protests erupt in Buenos Aires as Argentina’s Congress approves Milei’s new IMF loan

Argentina’s lower house of Congress has given President Javier Milei’s government the green light to borrow more money from the International Monetary Fund.
Milei is seeking a new 10-year loan, on top of the 44 billion dollars already borrowed in 2018.
The vote took place as protesters gathered near Congress to protest a cut in pension payments.
