Ukraine has backed a US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, but there’s no word yet on whether Russia will agree to it after three years of war.
The breakthrough came after nine hours of talks between US and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.
The White House says it’s now up to Moscow to make peace.
