Syria merges Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces into state institutions

Syria’s government has struck a landmark deal – to integrate the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces, into state institutions.
It comes after weeks of negotiations between Damascus and SDF leaders.
The group controls the northern part of Syria, including key oil-producing regions.
The agreement could reshape the country’s power dynamics after years of civil war.
